Our family takes joy in turning everything and anything into a celebration. The welcome mat is always out and our house is filled with kids, friends and family. My somewhat skewed mind is constantly brainstorming for new and innovative ways to make our family and friends enjoy being together! This site will share over 2 decades of ideas to celebrate any event, party or occasion ..all tested and resoundingly applauded by our own 4 children, their friends, our friends, and family.

Most of these ideas are not expensive. We don’t spend money on fancy food and expensive invitations.. NO.. at our home we focus on fun. Unique party favors, great gift ideas, fun party games, terrific school spirit /booster club activities, cool college care packages and fabulous theme parties are what have provided some of our best memories.

The kids, now in their twenties, are scattered across the country. However, their hearts are still solidly connected to family. It has been said that we must give our children both “roots and wings”. Our group still loves to come home often (and usually with an entourage!). Their roots have grown deep with years of memories, many involving the ideas that are described here.
