Bridal Shower Menu Ideas

Host your bridal shower at home with these easy foods!

This bridal shower menu is perfect for a brunch and easy to do if you are hosting a bridal shower at home. See how my sister-in-law, our family's expert shower planner held a shower at home. Holding a bridal or baby shower at home is easy if you plan correctly. The menu you choose is key. Keep it simple and avoid having to bake or cook everything the morning of your shower. Here are some good suggestions on what to serve on your bridal shower menu. It works for a brunch, a luncheon or afternoon tea party with equal success.

bridal shower menu ideas

Begin with Mimosas, that refreshing champagne and orange juice mix along with iced tea and lemonade. Her buffet table for 26 guests included the following:

HoneyBaked Ham. (10 lbs)- with their champagne mustard 4 quiches from our bakery(2- spinach and cheese, 2 green chile and cheese)

Roasted asparagus - with olive oil and lemon zest. Used 7 bunches

Mini croissants from Trader Joe's frozen section. (Take them out and put frozen on cookie sheets to "proof"over night. Bake for 20 minutes) So flaky and delicious. Serve with butter, and peach jam and raspberry jam. Plan one per person.

For Dessert: Large fresh fruit platter, Pink lemonade, Small bottles of water, Coffee and Red Velvet Cake!

bridal shower cake

Look at the lovely cake they had made, which served as part of their bridal shower decorations! I loved how she displayed the invitation alongside the cake!

Her tip of the day to me was about cutting the cake to serve without making a mess. Using a serrated bread knife, she cut a core into the center of the cake, then was able to cut smaller pieces all around the perimeter of the cake. Once those were served, the core was left and she cut that into remaining slices! Thank you Darcy for this wonderful suggestion!

bridal shower dessert ideas You can also add cakeballs, an easy dessert recipe to your bridal shower menu. I loved these bite-sized nuggets of cake and frosting covered in melted chocolate! Plus you can make them beforehand and keep them in the refrigerator, so they are an easy addition.

Here are the easy shower centerpieces that complement this bridal shower menu!
