Celebrating a Company Anniversary

The company I work with has their 35th Anniversary this year. I am to get creative and try to promote the anniversary to my employees and/or expand to the community or figure out how we're going to celebrate this anniversary. Any ideas besides cake, draw, etc.? I left it to the last minute, but need to have a plan in place by March 4 so I can bring the ideas to the planning committee. Any ideas would be grateful. Thanks!
