The Holiday season has always been my favorite time of year. When the kids were small it was the whole Santa thing and now as they are older it is the joy of having them all home, together in one place for a few days. For over 25 years, we have all gone to Maryland to spend Christmas with my family. I got all my shopping done early and brought it Grandma and Grandpa's at Thanksgiving. Grandma, God Bless her, would then wrap each and every present! As a result, while everyone else is madly dashing to the stores between Thanksgiving and Christmas, I had my shopping all done. This gave me the time to create some great family traditions that have held up since the kids were little. It truly has been my Mom's greatest Christmas gift to me!
