Personalized Graduation Party Favors can add so much to your celebration. They are thoughtful and signal to your guests that you took the time to do something special. Here is a super easy idea.. if you know how to print address labels.. you can make these fun graduation party favors!
Look at how cute this graduation party favor idea is! If you can make a label.. you can make these personalized graduation party favors. First thing you need are the Hersheys chocolate bars - SNACK SIZE - they come 8 to a package and usually run about $1.39 a pack. It is important to use this size as guess what - the standard address label of 1 x 2 5/8" fits PERFECTLY on top of the candy wrapper!
You buy the package of labels in the 1 x 2 5/8" size like these Avery Labels. Once you have the labels, download the template into a word document, the package will tell you how to do this. Insert your text and graphic. I used the university logo, but you can add a photo of your grad, your high school or college mascot - you will have to most likely re-size the graphic to fit on the label.. You can also keep it simple and add Happy Graduation Class of... Label format done, now insert the label sheets into the printer and print!
I made these for my goddaughter who will be attending University of
Vermont next fall. Just
print, peel and apply to the candy bar and you have an adorable
graduation party favor or a fun addition to your dessert table. Display
them on a big plate or in a big candy dish. Or in my case I made her a big "V" cake to celebrate her decision to attend Vermont and surrounded it with the personalized candy! For her actual graduation party, I made a whole basket of these personalized graduation party favors.
What is fun about this idea is that you can make different ones for all the graduate guests - pop in a clear cellophane bag, tie with school color ribbons and gift away!
This idea is so easy and so adaptable to just about any celebration! We recreated this idea for our daughter's wedding .. made these cute labels for that celebration.. attached to the mini Hersheys bars and our couple had adorable additions to their wedding gift bags for out of town guests.. Here are some we have made for a baby shower. There are so many ways you can adapt this idea.. wouldn't it be cute for a 25th wedding anniversary party too?
