A Creative Idea For Decorating Your Rehearsal Dinner Tables
Rehearsal dinner decorations can add some fun and flair to your rehearsal dinner. Here's a creative idea to decorate your rehearsal dinner tables and make the atmosphere extra special. For our son's recent rehearsal dinner I chose the theme, "Oh The Places You've Been"... a play on my favorite Dr. Seuss book, "Oh, The Places You'll Go"! Each table had photos of our couple at places that held special memories to them.
Since our couple attended Rutgers University together, I found some great pictures of them together on campus. Next I found old photos of the 2 of them up in Lake George, NY. their favorite spot to vacation with the bride's family. I enlarged the photos to 8x10, then added some text. Each table would represent a special memory for them. I added a bouquet of daisies to each table too.
Here was the NY Sports Table.. photos of them at both NY Giants and NY Yankees games.
Once you have your photos all created and framed, then assign your guest seating accordingly. It was easy using this rehearsal dinner decoration idea. I seated the guests at the tables that held relevance to their relationship with the kids. Here is the rehearsal dinner seating I created in lieu of using table numbers. Assigning seats makes all your guests more comfortable. They arrive and are not looking for a place to sit. I framed my seating chart and placed it at the entrance to the room with photos of the couple flanking it.

A final touch to tie it all together.. I bought the couple the Dr. Seuss book, Oh, the Places You'll Go! (Classic Seuss)and all the guests added a note to the book. A fun remembrance of a special rehearsal dinner.
