Easy, "Green", Eco-friendly Valentines Day craft ideas

Plantable Paper is one of the greatest craft items ever. It is paper that has flower seeds embedded in it.. you can use it to make cards, invitations, party favors and other crafts with it. Best of all, when the celebration is over, you moisten the paper and plant it under dirt.. Two to three weeks later.. you have wildflowers! You can buy it at craft stores, specialty online sites and even Amazon.com

For this eco-friendly Valentine craft, cut hearts out of your plantable paper, cut bigger hearts our of pink or red construction paper. Use glue dots to attach the plantable paper heart to the colored one. Add a green painted popsicle stick to the back. Attach your Valentine note. Get a cup or vase and add a piece of styrofoam to the base. Pop in your flowers and you have a bouquet of plantable flowers. How about a Valentine's days craft for kids that recycles all those old crayons sitting around the house.. Simply melt them.. yes, break up all those old crayons and place them in heart shaped silicone candy or cupcake molds. Bake for 10 minutes, let cool and pop out of the mold. Add a cute valentine card and you have the coolest recycled Valentines to give out. These are great for classroom valentines.
