Skip the traditional Bridal shower cake and add an assortment of cupcakes and cake pops to your bridal shower menu. Our bridesmaids decided to forgo the usual sheetcake and create a beautiful display of desserts in our brides wedding colors. Then they tied in the bridal shower centerpieces in the same colors which made for a pretty dessert table!
The girls asked one of their high school friends who is a baker extrodinaire to create these yummy and beautiful mini cupcakes and beautifully decorated cakepops all in the white and blush colors of the bride's wedding! Having been to many showers, we would have to say this was the best dessert table ever. Unlike half eaten sheet cakes and plates with cake remaining, not a single one of these delicious bridal shower desserts remained at the end of the celebration! We loved how our pastry chef Stephanie added the little pearls to the cupcake frostings and then set the mini cupcakes into another cupcake liner.. so pretty.
You can see Stephanie's recipes and tutorials on her fabulous blog, Messy Little Baker and if you are close to New York City you can order direct from her for all your dessert and sweet treat needs! She is so creative and so easy to work with and best of all her treats are mouth watering delicious! We love desserts that can be color themed to the celebration! Here are more of Stephanie's beautiful bridal shower themed cakepops! Love the pearls around the "bride" themed cakepop. The "groom" bowtie made out of hearts is so creative.
Stephanie shares some more of her creative bridal shower desserts here.. Rosette cupcakes and cute as can be cut out cookies decorated as wedding gowns and wedding cakes. However, our favorite are the adorable engagement rings.. beyond clever!
