These easy CakePop desserts are so beyond adorable. You can make them and decorate them for any holiday or celebration. Stephanie at Messy Little Baker shared these cute Reindeer cakepops! Cake balls are our family favorite… little nuggets of cake and frosting dipped in melted chocolate. While we love they are delicious, they are time consuming to make. SO what did I find.. a quick shortcut that will make cakeballs in minutes. Best of all, you can easily turn cakeballs into cake pops with this great little machine.
While the original cakeball recipe calls for a mixture of crumbled cake and frosting, dipped in melted chocolate, I found this great little baker from Babycakes. Just make any cake batter, pour it into the molds, shut the lid and bake. A fun version of cupcakes.. Once they are done in a matter of minutes, let them cool, then dip into the melted chocolate of your choice. Add sprinkles, colored sugar or any festive decorations for a beautiful and seasonal dessert. You can make dozens of these in half the time of traditional cakeballs. Look at this awesome display of University of Michigan cake pops.. perfect for graduation or a tailgate party!! Love our Bo Schembechler bobble head! Or in our case we used them as the dessert buffet for the rehearsal dinner for our son, a Michigan alumi! Those Michigan alumni are crazy for their school!
Drumroll, please.. Here it is.. the greatest baking machine ever...easy to use, small to store! And the sister machine that melts chocolate without ever burning.. it stays warms and prevents it from hardening so you can use all the chocolate with no waste.
Take a look at the reviews on the Babycakes CP-12 Cake Pop Maker, Purple, 12 Cake Pops machine at Amazon and it was highly rated and the reviewers offered lots of good tips.
One of our visitors wrote in and said the EASIEST way to make cakepops are to use plain donut holes.. no baking.. just dip in chocolate and add decorations.. now how is that for a timesaving tip!
These are great for school parties, family gatherings and the holidays.
You can even make them without the frosting to create donut holes.. just
dip in powdered sugar!
They would be a fun addition to your Super Bowl party using the team colors or your Bridal Shower Menu.
