A preschool teacher shared these Valentine card ideas for toddlers and pre-school kids. What we loved about this easy Valentine craft is the the little ones can actually make these! So many adorable craft ideas require materials, tools and lots of adult help. While they may look spectacular, you know the kids probably did not really make them. This adorable Valentine heart idea is so simple and requires only adult instruction and supervision. Thus they can have the pride in their finished Valentine project and everyone will be different!
Here are the supplies you need: The kiss shape and Be Mine tag - these Valentine card ideas can be printed here! A piece of 12 x 12 inch aluminum foil, do NOT use heavy duty, the lighter weight foil works best, Valentines candies or stickers, Magic markers - sharpies medium tip work the best. That is all. You cut out the template on poster board and the kids do the rest!
The kids simply cover the heart shape with the foil, add a face with either markers or using candy or stickers and add the tag. These kids loved using the chocolate Kiss for the nose! One started and they all wanted to do it! The preschoolers can color the tag if they want or you can flip it over and let them write Be Mine on it themselves! How adorable are these.. below are some of the cute ones the preschoolers did!
